Okay, so 2012 is underway and everyone has established their resolutions for the new year. I'm all for new beginnings, fresh starts, and trying to better yourself - and the start of a new year is a great time to begin making positive changes. To improve your chances for success, don't put so much pressure on yourself to make massive changes all at once. Look at your goals as more of a multi-step improvement plan. Tackle things in small chunks and they'll seem a lot more attainable.
One of my tweaks for 2012 will be to continue upgrading my personal style and incorporating some twists and turns into my aesthetic. They're not necessarily going to be drastic changes, but I'm thinking about changing my hair - maybe incorporating wigs into my repertoire. I've been sporting a lot of patterned tights this season and have been receiving a lot of positive feedback. Express (http://www.express.com/); kohl's (http://www.kohls.com/), nordstrom (http://www.nordstrom.com/), and macy's (http://www.macys.com/) all have really nice varieties.
Color is really big right now, but if you're not quite daring enough to sport the bright colors that are really hot, you may want to consider taking advantage of the availbale patterns and textures.
I'm also going to begin using scarves. I used to wear scarves frequently, but over the past several years, I stopped. I was in a Coach store recently (http://www.coach.com/) and the sales associate showed me some really creative ways to tie them so I bought two.
I challenge you to make a few small style changes and improve your style statement for 2012.
