Chic Or Treat!

My family and I went to a Halloween Brunch this morning.  I usually wear a costume to this brunch - last year I was the Wicked Witch of the West and the previous year I was a She-Devil.  I was going to do Little Red Riding Hood this year, but when I went into the Halloween store with my young daughter, she totally freaked out and I had to leave. I decided to go with a Halloween inspired look instead.

Miss Independent

I'm channeling Destiny's Child's "Independent Woman" and Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" with my most recent t-shirt design.

I understand firsthand that women have a ton of hats to wear and are constantly juggling multiple responsibilities.  I absolutely LOVE men, but I do acknowledge that to be a woman who is out there doing her thang is something to be celebrated.

"Ms. Independent/X-Factor" is the name of my most recent design and is dedicated to all the strong and independent never-been-married and previously married women who are handling their business.

Limited quantities and sizes are available at my online store.

Low Key and Casual

I  attended a concert and decided to keep things low key and casual.

Camoflauge jacket, "Brooklyn's Finest" T-shirt, cuffed jeans and sneaks.

One Pair of Pants, Three Ways

I'm a working class woman who wears my clothes regularly, so when I rotate my pieces, I try to pair them with different items so they look fresh.  I purchased these pants a few months ago, wore them initially in August, and have since worn them twice.
