One Dress Three Ways

The  basic maxi dress.  The simplicity of its design makes it particularly versatile.  I'll be mixing and matching this all summer long.  There are endless styling options for this type of dress, and I have included 3 in this post.

This dress actually has spaghetti straps and a cutout back. With spaghetti straps, I generally layer a tank or other shirt underneath to conceal my bra straps.

In this case, I chose a crew neck crop top and layered a gorgeous statement necklace on top.
Here's a little peek at the cutout back.
A closer look at the necklace. Isn't it fab?  You can see how I layered the crop top under the dress.
Check out this buttery soft "Comic Leather Statement Clutch" by Love Cortnie.  I've been eyeballing this for quite some time.
It makes quite the statement, and is roomy enough to fit all my essentials.
I layered a flowy graphic tank over the dress.
Different eyeglasses, jewelry, handbag, and shoes.
The silky material and high heeled mules dress this up a bit.

The great thing about this dress is that it can also be dressed down for an easy casual feel.
I threw a cropped denim jacket over the dress.  I've had this jacket for about 10 years, and although it doesn't quite close anymore (10 years, 10lbs. later) it is great for situations like these.
Chuck Taylors and a statement clutch complete the look.

Re-styling your looks is easy when you follow these 5 simple steps.

1. Layer something underneath. (e.g. a tank top)
2. Layer something on top. (e.g. crop top, blazer)
3.Throw a belt around it. (Not shown in this post)
4. Change your accessories.
5. Change your shoes.

Check out how I styled the red version of this maxi dress.
