Dressing Up for the Holidays

The holidays season is one of my favorite times of year, because there are always events and get-togethers that require being a little fancy. Even if the events don't have that requirement, I like to add a little sparkle and shine.

Here are two recent holiday outfits. The first is a more dressy outfit that required ZERO shopping. I've had all of these items in my closet for years.

Everything about this outfit screams "holiday dressing" - the green, sparkles, and fur...

I haven't worn this skirt in years, because I've gained a couple of pounds, but the peplum top covers up things very nicely.
Fur shawl, and skirt from Express. Peplum top from H&M (also seen here.) - All old.

This next outfit is a little more casual dressy. The t-shirt dresses things down a bit and the sequins joggers add the more festive element. This shirt is one of the 2 tees that I acquired during the Janet Jackson State of the World Tour in November. (insert hearts here.) It was an amazing concert!

Sequins joggers from here.

And since we're on the topic of "Miss Jackson If You're Nasty," here's how I styled the other t-shirt that I got from her concert. Simple and casual, with the purple faux fur to make it pop!

I have another holiday event or two to attend, so look out for at least another post before the end of the year. What are you doing for the rest of the holidays? Log in to drop me a line.

Thank you for reading. I hope my posts have given you a little style inspiration and enjoyment.
